Objective of the Module: A Skill-Building program that shows people how to determine Communication Styles (both their own and those of others) and Teaches them to use this knowledge to foster enhanced Communications in Mentoring and Coaching Staff.

Contents: One Day Workshop Using Personal Survey's, Video's and Participant cases, we Cover:

"What is Your Sign? " The nature of Communications and the four major styles -Intuitor, Thinker, Feeler, Senser. Attendees are given a survey to determine their Primary and Back up styles of Communications. We discuss the four major communication styles and the behavioral characteristics with each. How to identify and adapt their style to effectively communicate with the other communication styles.

"What Color is your Parachute?"   Allow attendees to understand what their Primary, Backup or Stress Styles are and when each is used. How Styles shift under Stress and why it is important to recognize it and what to do.

"It's Just the Way I am!"   Our reliance on our own style and via case studies/videos, why we can over stress a given style.

"NO WAY!" Opposing styles of communications – why they exist and how to effectively communicate. How oppositional styles complement each other. Why you want them on your team. Hiring in your own image? Mentoring the oppositional style!

Interpersonal Behavioral   How to recognize and communicate effectively deal with the aspects of Introversion and Extroversion as they relate to the four main communication styles.

"Applied Communications" How to use communication style recognition in Personnel, Manger – Subordinate communications, Presentations and Manager-Coaching/Counseling/Mentoring situations as well as organizational and team building.

"Electronic Communications and YOU! Email - Voice Mail - Phones - Speaker Phones and Conference Calls - How to understand your style and effectively communicate in today's E-environment.
