MentorOne™
(Now available on GSA. GS-02F-0046P)

One of the key aspects of our workshops is our optional one-on-one coaching of the students afterwards by the instructor. We call this program MentorOne™. The instructor spends time with the student reviewing their work and helping them apply the concepts outlined in the workshop. The value is they learn by doing!

Why MentorOne™? In my 26 years of experience in sales, marketing, and the IT services industry, I have had the opportunity to participate in and witness many different forms of training, consulting, and philosophies on how to conduct and achieve the best possible results from these activities. While all have been successful to one degree or another, it has been my observation that the key ingredient missing was the one-on-one follow-up and coaching of the students after they completed formalized training. What frequently happens is the students return to the field and continue handling most activities in the same manner as before they received training. There are a number of reasons for this:

1. Lack of understanding of the tips, techniques and methods or how to personally apply them as discussed in the class or by the consultant
2. The understanding of the material, tips and techniques is there but due to business pressures the students do not have time to sit back and think about what they have learned and how to effectively use it.
3. Lack of management support or management time to ensure the training material is being used in a "Real World situation or Territory"
4. The Project Lead / Project Manager/ Marketing Representative may have been through formal training in the past but has forgotten what he/she learned or in some cases may have picked up bad habits.
5. Finally, the assumption that if you pick only one or two tips or techniques, that is the best you can hope for in the training and consulting process.

MentorOne™ serves these needs. Our one-on-one coaching provides enhanced learning because we are working on your projects. We offer services in 4-hour blocks for individuals or 8-hour blocks for teams to provide a direct transference between the class and the student's projects. Our flexible plans can work around your schedule and mentoring is done by instructors with over 20 years of experience assuring quality results.
