Return on Investment

Once a solid foundation of project management capability is in place, the overall success rate for the projects any organizations undertakes will normally improve. Improvements to the consistency with which projects return the cost of capital to the organization will depend on advances in the management of the overall portfolio of projects undertaken, and in a rigorous approach to developing project costs and benefits.

This module is designed for experienced project managers and line managers whose responsibilities include the oversight and prioritization of the organization's project resources. Executives may benefit from attending the introductory modules and returning for class presentations on Day Two.

After the initial interviews are conducted, a 1 and half to 2 day workshop will be held for senior managers who are responsible for multiple projects, and will typically include selected senior-level project managers. MentorOne™

MentorOne™ is designed as an optional add-on to our courses and is designed to address the need for after-workshop follow-up to ensure that lessons learned are truly implemented in the workplace. To accomplish this, we provide expert resources that not only teach the workshop, but also spend one-on-one time coaching and mentoring the student in his/her workplace. For example, as a follow-up to our Real Life Project Management Course, our Coach/Mentors work with the students on their projects, showing them how the classroom material applies to "what they are doing in the real world". They work with the student on how to resolve problems and ensure a good knowledge transfer of skills.

The bottom line is with MentorOne™ you get the workshop and the follow-through to ensure maximum payback of your training dollars.
